The laboratory
The headquarters is located in Florence in Via Livorno 8/16 spread out over an area of approximately 2000 square metres, divided into specific areas, organized in accordance with the Legislative Decree 81/2008 (testo unico on health and safety in the workplace).
The air-conditioned and equipped with a fire safety system and intrusion protection, is divided into specialised areas equipped with adequate equipment.
The setting is as follows:
- Part dedicated to the restoration of wooden artefacts (equipped with woodworking machinery and dust extraction system)
- Zona engaged in restoration of paintings (equipped with vacuums)
- Part dedicated to the restoration, cleaning and washing of bronze and stone materials (complete with intake manifold, deionized water misting or otherwise, and from a float-bridge for moving heavy materials)
- Area where parasite treatment
- Warehouses
- Deposits
- Offices
- Micro-chemical Laboratory inside to investigations infrared and ultraviolet photography, microchemical sections under the microscope. Uses external diagnostic laboratories for x-rays, endoscopies and riflettografie (works with the National Research Council).
